Harry Houdini - Harry was known as the King of Cards who turned into the most famous escapologist of all time. Siegfried and Roy - This duo was the highest paid magicians in the world. They performed for over 30 years in Las Vegas. They had the most spectacular magic show ever created. Paul Daniels - Paul Daniels had the longest running television show in the UK. He was most famous for his Chop Cup and his Electric Chairs routines. One of the pieces most people remember from his long running television show was a sketch were he showed magic to a couple of Chimpanzees! It was a very funny sketch as the Chimps couldn't work out what was going on!

 

Criss Angel - Criss Angel is one of the USA's most famous magicians of today. He has become famous since producing and staring in his hit television series "Mind Freak" He is known for his incredible tricks of the mind performed on normal people. The series has run for three seasons, and now Criss has just signed a 8 year contract with the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas to perform a live stage show with the incredible circus company - Cirque du Solei. David Blaine -David Blaine is best known for his unusual stunts. The most recent of his stunts was hanging upside down for 60 hours in New York. His other stunts have included spending 40 days in a glass box in London suspended above the Thames. Lance Burton - is a World Champion Magician. He started magic at the age of 6, and hasn't stopped since. He is based in Las Vegas at the Monte Carlo Casino, and is coming to the end of his 13 year contract, which is the longest legal contract ever given to an entertainer in Las Vegas. It is thought that Lance has earnt around $100 million for the 13 year deal. He is an all round expert in magic covering huge illusions, to the smallest manipulation. unique techniques to his name. Ali Bongo - was the President of the famous Magic Circle until very recently when he sadly passed away in 2009. He is very well respected in the magic community. He has written many books of his own as well as contributing to others books, and advising on television shows.

 

David Nixon - was a very famous magician in the UK, best known for introducing Basil Brush to the World. David Nixon, worked for many years alongside Basil as well as being a very skilful magician. Harry Blackstone -Was a famous American magician of the 20th century. He was known for his stage magic and illusions. He performed many different illusions and began to entertain during the WW2. Louis de Matos - is Portugal's most famous magician. Known for putting on some of the largest magic stage shows in the World, Luis De Matos has performed for over 200,000 people in one show. Not only does he perform enormous stage illusion he also performs incredible close up magic, which is filmed through a video camera and projected onto large video screens so the audience can see what is happening.

 

Hans Klok - is from Holland and began magic as a teenager and then began supporting a famous Dutch comedian on tour. After that he became well known in Holland and by the magic world. He now has his own show in Las Vegas, assisted by Pamela Anderson. Watch Hans Klok perform

 

Derren Brown -Derren is the UK's most famous Mentalist. He was born in Croydon and is also a excellent artist. He shot to fame after his television specials and series were a hit on Channel 4. Known for his mind control and ability to manipulate people's thoughts. He has also had several sell out theatre tours.
